1. How many years have you been working in Co-op/WIL and/or Experiential Learning?

3 Years.

2. How many years have you been working in Co-op/WIL and/or Experiential Learning?

The field of career development is constantly evolving, with new technologies, job markets, and career trends emerging regularly. I believe that as a Career practitioner, I have the opportunity to engage in lifelong learning, staying updated on industry developments and honing skills to better serve the students as well as helping them to be seen and heard within their diverse individuality.

3. Tell us about what themes or topics in Co-op/WIL/EL that you are passionate about. (ex. EDI, career exploration, international students, mental health, employer networking events, strategic planning, research, and data, etc.)

EDI, Mental health and research and data. I think those are the themes that are most of time forgotten.

4. Who are you outside of work? Where would we find you on a weekend or holiday?

Outside of work I am a woman, a mom, a daughter, a niece, I am nothing without my community.

When I have time, I would be playing sports, reading fun facts about linguistics.

5. What advice would you give to your younger professional self?

There’s not one specific path to a career. Career evolves, changes.
